Hario Skerton N
Compared to its Skerton predecessors (Hario Skerton Plus), the Skerton N grinds much more evenly and has a new base with more stability and manageability. It is therefore a really good, handy alternative to electric coffee grinders. Hario has installed a high-quality ceramic cone burr in the grinder, which can be continuously adjusted with the typical wheel in Hario grinders. The ceramic burr transfers less heat than a steel burr. It ensures a uniform grinding thickness, which guarantees consistently good coffee quality.
Practical lid for catch cup
The special feature of the Skerton N grinder is that, like its predecessors, it has an extra lid. This allows the home user to grind a certain amount of coffee and close the glass container (capacity: 100g) to store it in a cool place instead of grinding it every day (which can be tiring). And all this at a great price-performance ratio, in our opinion.
Quality burr from Hario
Hario from Japan is one of the leading manufacturers of coffee accessories and we can also confirm the quality of the technically improved Skerton N grinder. The infinitely adjustable ceramic burr can be set from fine (espresso) to medium (hand filter) to coarse (French press) in order to use the optimum grind depending on the preparation method. The consistency of the grinding result remains stable even with a fine grind. A high-quality grinder with a glass container for the brew bar at home.
Cleaning & use
So that you can enjoy your grinder for a long time, it is advisable not to clean the grinder in the dishwasher but only gently with water. To do this, you can unscrew the grinder in no time at all. The catch cup has a capacity of approx. 100g of ground coffee, ideal for several portions, depending on which preparation method and recipe you use.
