Espresso tasting set
The Röststätte espresso tasting set consists of three different espresso roasts that we put together according to your taste. You can choose between our rarity set, a chocolaty-nutty espresso set or a package with 3 fruity-complex espresso roasts. As usual, you will receive all coffees as whole beans or ground for the portafilter or stovetop pot.
Espresso tasting sets: the selection

Rarities Set

The rarities set is characterized by experimental preparation methods and extraordinary taste profiles. It currently includes Getuya Peaberry (Kenya), Cerro San Luis (Costa Rica), El Paraiso YN-05 (Colombia)

Fruity complex

In the fruity-complex espresso set, those coffees can be combined that have a fruity acidity and a lively texture in taste. These currently include our Novum, Mundayo (Ethiopia) and Olochoy (Kenya).

Chocolatey-nutty

The varieties Sinfonia, Capital and Santiago serve with a chocolaty flavor profile. These roasts have no or little acidity with a creamy texture. We wish you a lot of fun trying it out!

Sustainable cultivation and quality awareness
Similar to the wine, the origin, the cultivation and the careful harvest also form the basis for a coffee specialty. For our coffees, we only use ripe and hand-picked 100% Arabica coffee beans, because the laborious manual harvest is an essential quality criterion. Our highland coffees are natural products and are grown in shady forest gardens in a nature-friendly manner. In this way, the biological diversity in the growing region is preserved. The coffee cherries can slowly ripen in cool high altitudes with nutritious and fertile soil conditions. Under these optimal climatic conditions near the equator, the coffee plants have more time to develop their characteristic and fruity aromas.  
Freshly roasted by hand
All Röststätte coffees are gently roasted by hand in Berlin so that the natural aromas can develop fully without undesirable acids being produced. For a distinctive body and a versatile taste profile in the cup, we want to use our roasting to emphasize the special features of the respective variety, farm and origin of the coffee and process it optimally. The aim is therefore to exploit the full potential of the green coffee through our type of roasting in order to also emphasize the valuable work of the producers in the growing countries. These are our quality principles – from source to the final cup.
